You're tasked with developing a Request for Proposal and associated engineering drawings to solicit competitive bids for the installation of your network infrastructure. Maybe you're network expert, but you're busy with other responsibilities. Or maybe you just need some guidance and assistance. MNM can help. We've designed, installed and maintained thousands of networks over the years.

MNM will help you sort through the maze of hype over which type of infrastructure to install. Should it be Category 5E, or Category 6? What about Category7? Fiber optics? Should I go with a manufacturer specific solution or generic? What are the differences? What are the advantages? How can I get the best solution for my investment.

We'll also sort through your networking issues. Shared versus Switched. Ethernet. 10mb/100mb/1gb. What should I choose? Which products are more suited for my environment?

The answer is - it depends on your network applications, it depends on your goals and it depends on your budget. MNM will help you create a vision that will support your network needs today and in the future, while accommodating your overall budget. This allows you to invest your money where it will receive the greatest return - on the installation.

One of MNM's Systems Advisors will meet with you to complete a network project profile and configuration guide. After that, we'll help you begin sketching out network. You'll be amazed by the results. Utilizing our Enhanced Engineering Process EEPTM, MNM will prepare a concise and comprehensive design in a short period of time. This will include a complete set of drawings utilizing the latest version of AutoCAD, and a detailed RFP, so you can solicit competitive proposals. Build & Document

Now it's time for the pre-planning and engineering to pay off. You're ready to install your network. When selecting the right technology partner, check their qualifications: How long have they been in business?

How many employees do they have? Where is their Corporate Headquarters? How many RCDD's/LAN Specialists are on staff? How many in-house technicians? How many engineering personnel? What other services do they provide? Have they developed a quality control system, and what does it consist of? Are they a cabling company or a full systems integrator? Are they financially stable? How experienced are their people? What is the project manager's experience?

There are several key elements that go into a properly installed network. They are as follows:

Skilled Personnel
MNM has both an in-house and external BICSI Certified training program. There are two levels of project management and three levels of technician skill. Training requirements must be met prior to advancement. This ensures the proper mix of personnel on your project to achieve the most cost effective result without sacrificing quality.

Pre-Construction & Weekly Meetings
